STARTING D&D AT RPG TAVERNS
Welcome to RPG Taverns, where your journey into the world of Dungeons & Dragons begins. From character creation to forging your own epic tale, D&D at RPG Taverns gives you all the highs of playing a TTRPG with none of the admin.

We create your story outline, build the world in which you play and guide you on quests, while you get to grow your character, make friends and roll dice.

Your first step in joining the quest is character creation. Our experienced Game Masters will help you craft an adventurer to inhabit this fantastical realm, tailored to your imagination. From noble paladins to cunning rogues, and everything in between, the choice is yours.

Once your character is created, you'll head to our noticeboard of adventures, with secrets to uncover, challenges to tackle and monsters to slay. That means no two sessions are the same, with every Game Master adding their own unique twist to your adventure.
How Can a New Player Join?
General Session
How hundreds of players have joined us, our General Session New Player Ticket brings you into our living world from level 1, playing with our wider community who pride themselves on helping those who've never played before (or keeping more experienced players alive when they first start!)
Beginner's Table
Only recommended for those who've never played D&D before and find the idea of diving straight into a general game intimidating, the Beginner's table teaches you the basic mechanics of Dungeons and Dragons.
It will give you all the skills you need to head onto regular tables next time!
Character Creation
Ready to join us for a game? The journey begins with Character Creation!

Character Creation consists of introducing you to the world, and then heading over to D&D Beyond where you'll join our campaign and create a character ready to adventure in Aeon.

Curious about what classes and species are available in our game? Only so many species have made it into our world so far, but through your adventures you'll help more and more call Aeon home.

Codes of Conduct
Everyone should feel safe and comfortable playing Dungeons & Dragons in London. To make that happen, every player and member of staff must abide by our Codes of Conduct. These outline what is appropriate behaviour while on our premises, and how to report inappropriate behaviour safely.
When you buy a ticket, that will be sent to you and we'd ask you read it to make sure you know what's expected from players at the table. You can see those guidelines in full by clicking below.
